about

I think Thoughts About ROxanne is the blueprint for Bakelite Radio. I heard this song by John Mayall on a record called Turning Point. Roxanne was one of my favourites songs on that recording. It had so much of everything I love about mixing blues, jazz, pop and folk. Simon's bass does an energetic into Mingus style, while Eddy's jazz chord inversions add lots of landscape. Nicky simply uses hi hats here and I get to play alto.
